Renovation binsWe recycle what we can and take loads to a recycling facility where accepted materials are separated whenever possible.
Peak Recycling helps homeowners, property owners, landlords, residential renovators, and residential builders remove cleanup and renovation waste while keeping recycling in mind. The goal is not to overpromise that every item can be recycled. The goal is to route loads to a recycling facility, where accepted recyclable materials can be separated and recovered whenever possible.

Recovery depends on the load, contamination, facility requirements, and whether materials are accepted. Common materials that may be separated include wood, metal, cardboard, drywall, concrete, rock, clean fill, and other accepted recyclable materials.
Homeowners can help by describing the load before delivery and keeping restricted items out of the bin. Paint cans, automotive batteries, oil, chemicals, asbestos, electronic waste, vehicle tires, food, contaminated soil, and hazardous materials should not be placed in the bin.
Many residential projects create mixed loads. Garage cleanouts, renovations, rental turnovers, roofing, yard projects, and new home cleanup often include more than one material type. Mixed loads can affect recovery, weight, and disposal requirements, so it helps to tell Peak Recycling what the main materials are.
Recycling-conscious disposal means the load is handled with recycling in mind. It does not mean every item in every bin can be recovered. Material condition, contamination, facility acceptance, and restricted items all affect what can be separated.
